This Malaysian Guy Got Four Yeses On ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ With His Insane Magic Stunt
If you did a double take on the photo above, chances are you’ve probably seen him before. On TV, or YouTube, to be precise.
Andrew Lee is our local lad, who performed his magic tricks on Asia’s Got Talent back in November 2017.
His act wowed the judges and the whole of Asia, thanks to his stomach-churning performance which helped him stroll all the way until the semi-finals.
Although he didn’t win, his performance left quite a lasting impression as it was literally life-threatening. His stunt involved the good old card trick with a twist – throwing a knife blinfolded at the host while catching the selected card.
This year, he’s set his sights on bigger things as he travelled all the way to the United Kingdom to audition for 'Britain’s Got Talent (BGT)' in hopes of performing in front of the British Royal Family one day.
On Sunday, Andrew’s audition was aired and boy, did it keep us (and everyone) on the edge of our seats.
Andrew performed the same trick and enlisted the help of BGT’s hosts – Ant and Dec. You could clearly see that Dec wasn’t too pleased after learning the nature of the trick and he was genuinely scared for his life.
It was so tense that you can even hear gasps in the auditorium.

The audience and all four judges – David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Simon Cowell - all roared in awe (and relief for Dec, obviously) and gave Andrew a standing ovation.
You can watch the whole adrenaline-pumping audition below:
Simon loved Andrew’s performance and even said “That was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen on this show.”
Other judges echoed the same sentiment as they showered the Malaysian magician four yeses.
His audition has gained close to 650,000 views on YouTube and over 1.1 million views on Facebook at the time of posting.
We hope that Andrew goes far in the competition and we wish him the best of luck!
