From kicking the Avengers’ a** at the box office to stealing our hearts in ‘Toy Story 4’, it looks like there’s no stopping the 54-year-old actor.
Now, rumour has it that he’s potentially going to be the next Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) superhero.
Earlier in June, there were rumblings that Reeves will star alongside fellow Hollywood legend Angelina Jolie in Marvel’s next superhero movie, ‘The Eternals’.
The news was never confirmed, but now, it seems that the ‘John Wick’ star may, after all, become an MCU superhero.
In a recent interview with ComicBook, Marvel head Kevin Feige said that the compnay is constantly in talks with Reeves for almost every movie they’re making.
“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige told the entertainment portal.
“I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
Marvel is still waiting -- or maybe, still planning? -- the perfect role for him, so when the right role comes, they hope that Reeves will finally become part of the ever-expandable MCU.
