After displaying groundbreaking success with the string of Marvel films in recent years, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is ready to take on another challenge.

Some of you may know that the man behind every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is also a huge fan of Star Wars.

The impact that this film franchise has had on pop culture over the years continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

And with the multiple Star Wars projects currently in the pipeline, The Force is just going to keep expanding as we speak.

While we patiently wait for the release of 'Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker' this December, Disney is already planning the next phase of the story with the help of Feige's golden touch.

We're so stoked for this.
In an exclusive report by The Hollywood Reporter, the Marvel man will be developing a new 'Star Wars' movie with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.

"With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together," Walt Disney Studios co-chairman and chief creative officer Alan Horn said.

May the Force be with him.
In addition, Feige also mentioned that he has a specific role in mind for a "major actor" that has not been named.

Any guesses who?

While we don't have much details about this at the moment, in the meantime, Star Wars fans can look forward to upcoming projects like feature trilogies from 'The Last Jedi' director Rian Johnson and 'Game of Thrones' showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, as well as live-action series 'The Mandalorian' by Jon Favreau coming to Disney+ in November.
