From MCU To DC: Taika Waititi In Talks To Star In ‘Suicide Squad 2’
If you’ve watched ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, we know you too have probably fallen in love with the character Korg, played by Taika Waititi.
His comedic portrayal of the rock alien stole many hearts and perhaps even those from the studio’s rival – DC Comics.
Deadline reported that Taika Waititi is in talks to star in James Gunn’s ‘Suicide Squad 2’.
A table reading for the sequel will supposedly take place on 11 September and filming will officially begin on 23 September.

No word yet on what role he will be taking on or how big it will impact the film.
Besides Waititi, Collider reported that Nathan Fillion is also in talks to star in the second installation of ‘Suicide Squad’.
Several familiar faces will be returning to ‘Suicide Squad’ such as Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), and Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag).
So, if the Kiwi director is offered (and accepts) a role in ‘Suicide Squad 2’, he is set to be one busy man as production for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will begin in early 2020.
Well, it's only a matter of weeks until we find out if Taika will be included in the roster.
