Meet the Cast of Sooka Original Drama Series 'Kau vs Aku' That's Already Viral on TikTok
Stories on Wattpad are great but not all of them are fit for the screens. Netflix’s Kissing Booth and the After series are both primary examples that adaptations of fan-favourite Wattpad fictions can turn out successful if done right - on the Hollywood spectrum.
Wattpad is also considered well-received in Malaysia, which prompted the producers from Sooka to produce a show based on the popular Malaysian Wattpad story ‘Kau Vs Aku’ by fiction writer Shieryuna. With 2.2 million reads on Wattpad alone, the production of its on-screen adaptation was just a matter of time.
Now blowing up on TikTok with a whopping total of 11.7 million views, we thought it’d be fitting to introduce you to the cast of Kau vs Aku.
Sasha Abedul as Aulia Zulaikha
If you’re familiar with the name and the face, then you must’ve watched Projek Anchor SPM featuring Sasha Abedul as Jaja Zubir. Sasha Abedul is relatively new to the scene but her talent is undeniable enough to land her a lead role in the current series. Sasha plays the role of Aulia Zulaikha, the main protagonist of the series. Pretty, independent and smart, Aulia can come off as a bit rebellious and feisty at times. Based on the first episode, it’s obvious that Aulia is dealing with a lot of internal issues and they look set to be addressed throughout the episodes.Dini Schatzmann as Danish Aryan

Dini stars as Danish Aryan, the good-looking new classmate of Aulia that turned out to be an influencer with 1.5 million followers on Instagram. Perceived as a cocky jock to Aulia, Danish acts strangely rude to the main character, indicating a possible enemies-to-lovers arc everyone wants to see.Mia Sara Shauki as Shanina/Nina

Emir is your perfect, cookie-cutter type of character who appeals to your parents and in this case, Aulia’s father. Academically excellent, Aulia’s father intends to marry her off to Emir one day, without knowing his short-tempered tendencies.
Atikah Suhaime as Putri Hannisya
The 31-year-old Singaporean-born has a number of films and series under her belt including cult classic Highland Towers directed by Pierre Andre. Her performance in Bila Hati Berbicara was the stepping stone for her other opportunities including a role in My Stupid Boss together with Reza Rahadian and Bunga Cinta Lestari.Atikah plays the most popular girl in the school; Putri Hannisya. Dubbed as the ‘Regina George’ of the series, Putri is attractive, sassy and intimidating, much like her clique.
