We’re months away until the premiere of the first ever Asian superhero film from Marvel.

‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ dropped another brand new trailer featuring a familiar face – local actress Michelle Yeoh.

Yeoh is no stranger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but her role in the latest MCU film remains a mystery… until now.

Badass Michelle is back

Thanks to the latest trailer, we now know that the Ipoh-born icon plays Jiang Nan, who appears to be some sort of mentor to Shang-Chi.

Just like the titular character, she also has her own badass fighting skills and moves, so we’re very much intrigued to know her actual role and ties to Shang-Chi and Wenwu in the film.

Not one, but TWO MCU films in the bag!
But that’s not all, Marvel decided to drop another surprise by bringing back Abomination, the super villain who was last seen in ‘The Incredible Hulk’.

Abomination is seen in an underground fight with someone you’d never expect to see in the film – the lovable Wong from ‘Doctor Strange’.

At this point, fans are already losing their mind over what’s in store for them in the film.

Only a few more months to go until we find out if Marvel has any more surprises saved for us.

‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ is set to debut on 3 September 2021.
