Michelle Yeoh Announced as Presenter for Major Korean Awards Ceremony This November

Legendary Ipoh-born international star, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, will join the star-studded line-up as a presenter at an upcoming major Korean awards ceremony.

According to a report by NST, Yeoh is set to appear as one of the presenters at the 2025 MAMA Awards on November 28 and 29, alongside other notable names such as Lee Kwang-soo, Ahn Hyo-seop, Hyeri, Ju Ji-hoon, and Shin Seung-hun.

This year’s MAMA Awards will be held at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, marking a momentous return of the awards show to the country after seven years.

The 2025 MAMA Awards will feature a total of 17 categories, including Best New Artist, Best OST, and the highly anticipated Best Male Artist and Best Female Artist awards.

Artists confirmed to perform at this prestigious ceremony include ENHYPEN, TXT, Stray Kids, and the iconic K-pop figure G-Dragon.

Formerly known as the Mnet Asian Music Awards, MAMA is an annual major music awards ceremony that was first held in Seoul in 1999. The event aims to recognise achievements in the K-pop and Asian music industry.

Last year, the event made history as the first K-pop awards ceremony to be held in the United States.
