By now, most of you would have heard about 'Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, Hollywood, And The World', the most famous book of the year that was just released two weeks ago.

Have you had a chance to read the book?
The pages centred on Jho Low and one of the biggest fraud cases in history, it is only a matter of time before this real-life drama gets translated into a movie.

And it is actually happening!

SK Global, the company behind the smash hit Crazy Rich Asians, has been granted the rights to make a movie adaptation of the book under its subsidiary company, Ivanhoe Pictures.

"Tom (Wright) and Bradley (Hope) have crafted a thoroughly compelling telling of this unbelievable story. While certainly a daring work of investigative journalism, the narrative thread and eclectic characters that they so diligently chronicle make the book read like a thrilling and engrossing novel," SK Global president John Penotti said, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

"We are very proud to be associated with this project and anticipate moving forward very quickly to production," he added.

Now, here's where it gets more interesting.

Our very own actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh recently signed a deal with Ivanhoe Pictures to start producing movies, and 'Billion Dollar Whale' will be her first project!

I’m loving this brilliantly reported new book by journalists Bradley Hope and Tom Wright. #billiondollarwhale Fascinating book. ?
