Only a handful of movies were released this year while the rest has been postponed to either in 2021 or 2022.
In a bid to support local theatre operators and the entertainment industry, TGV Cinemas has partnered with Astro to bring a new cinematic experience for Malaysians.
Fans can now watch signature Astro TV shows on the big screen starting December 2020 and throughout 2021.
Here’s the list of shows you can catch at TGV soon:
1. ‘Sepahtu Reunion’ (2020/2021) every Thursday from 24th December 2020
2. ‘Kampong Pisang Bersiri-siri’ (2020) every Monday from 28th December 2020
3. ‘Muzikal Lawak Superstar 2’ (2020) every Friday from 25th December 2020
4. ‘Suara Viral 2’ (2021) commencement date to be confirmed
5. ‘Maharaja Lawak Mega’ (2021) commencement date to be confirmed
6. ‘Big Stage’ (2021) commencement date to be confirmed
Interestingly, the shows that will be screened in cinemas will premiere concurrently with the live TV airing.
TGV MovieClub members and Astro customers will enjoy discounted ticket prices starting from only RM12.
