Well, this is music to our hears. Hah. The legendary Missy Misdemeanor Elliot, the only female rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (for obvious reasons) recently posted up an announcement on Instagram saying, “I just finished a long project I been working on since last year…”
This announcement was accompanied with a video of her moving and grooving to Soul II Soul’s “Keep on Movin” and cruelly teases fans once again. She’s been at it teasing us with new sounds and materials since last year!
She also took to Twitter to say, “Thank God I just finished a big project today & it has been a very intense no sleep 5 weeks working on this since last year.”
If her recent release with Lizzo titled “Tempo” is any indication of what is to come, we really have something to look forward to, ladies and gents. It's time for our Hip Hop Queen to make her much anticipated comeback!
