Since its release, the film has recorded earnings of RM1.65 million on its first day, earning the title of Box Office Champion on its first day of screening and setting a new record as the highest-grossing local Chinese film on its first day of screening in Malaysia.

Renowned Malaysian filmmaker Matt Lai directs MONEY GAME$ and features an impressive ensemble cast, including Malaysia’s Lunar New Year box office champion Jack Lim, Hong Kong’s award-winning actor Eric Tsang, acclaimed TV star Bobby Au-Yeung, and talented singer-actor Edmond So.

The film also introduces rising stars such as Steady Gang—Zhu Haoren, Tomato, and Ah Ya—alongside Wayne Thong, Sandra Lim, Jacqueline Tiang, and Jovi Heng.

The film’s gripping narrative delves into the dark world of pyramid schemes. It follows Eric Tsang, an anti-scam leader, and his team as they infiltrate a criminal network to uncover a massive conspiracy. Their journey unravels a 20-year-old murder mystery, adding tension and intrigue to the storyline.

The highly anticipated film recently premiered at Kuala Lumpur’s prestigious and iconic The Exchange, TRX, with a grand premiere featuring an exceptional cast of Hong Kong and Malaysian stars.
