NBA's two-time Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry is on his way to Hollywood.

In an unexpected turn of events, the Golden State Warriors star signed a film and television deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to work on projects focusing on family, faith and sports.

Curry has always carried a positive drive and creative energy around. This time, it looks like the basketball player is looking to expand his horrizons off the court with his production company which will be called Unanimous Media.

We wonder how good his acting is.
"I’ve been blessed to have this platform and I want to use it to affect the world positively," he said in a statement.

As one of the league's most marketable stars on one of its best teams, Curry earned an estimated USD35 million (RM137 million) in endorsements last year.

Let's see if he'll turn into a successful film and TV star next, joining the likes of fellow basketball player turned actors like Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, Shaquille O'Neal and more.
