A relationship 20 years in the making

Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are reportedly dating in real life.

According to entertainment site Closer, the pair had been "getting close" since they reunited for the 'Friends' reunion episode, which was filmed in April this year.

A source told the website that reminiscing over the past had "stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there".

Aniston and Schwimmer, both reportedly still single, began texting each other after filming ended and their relationship just went from there.

"Just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in L.A.

"They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen’s favourite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them,’ the source told Closer.

Had major crushes on each other

Rumours of the pair dating started back in May when they spoke about their onscreen and offscreen relationship during the 'Friends' reunion episode.

Aniston and Schwimmer revealed during the show that they both had a mutual ‘crush’ on one another.

"At some point we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. And we never crossed that boundary. We respected that," Schwimmer said.

Instead, Aniston said that the channelled all of their adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.

However, as much as we love Ross and Rachel to get together in real life, the rumours of them dating are just that: rumours.
