The whole controversy surrounding Neelofa, her wedding, and the so-called work trip to Langkawi may have died down a little but people are still curious about the case.

And it looks like we won’t need to wait anymore longer as the police have finally wrapped up their investigations.

What’s next for Neelofa?

Work or leisure?
According to Harian Metro, Dang Wangi District Chief Police Asst Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah says the investigation has ended and the file has been handed over to the Deputy Public Prosecutor.

They have recommended that Neelofa and her husband, Haris Ismail or also known as PU Riz, to be fined.

“The Deputy Public Prosecutor will now decided whether she be prosecuted or not. We have handed in the paperwork,” Mohamad Zainal said.

Prior to this, it was reported that another investigation has been launched on Neelofa and PU Riz’s wedding.

The couple got married in a closed ceremony at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on 27 March.

The wedding became the talk of the town after guests were seen not complying with the COVID-19 SOPs.

Photos of them sitting closely and not practising social distancing and not wearing facemasks went viral.

Neelofa then left for Langkawi just a day after her wedding for a work trip with Chatime that resulted in public scrutiny.

So, until then, we shall wait for the results.
