Remember back in 2016 when this song called "Pen Pineapple Apple Pen" song became the most viral tune ever (besides Psy's "Gangnam Style")?
Ahh, fun times.
Anyway, the brain behind the viral song, Pikotaro, is back and this time, he brought a new song about the Coronavirus with him.

'Wash! Laugh! Pray!'

The Japanese comic, whose real name is Daimaou Kosaka, recently released a new update for his 2016 hit for the COVID-19 titled "Pray for People And Peace (PPAP) 2020".
“In a hurry, I made a new version of PPAP.
“What I want to tell the whole world is ... Wash! Laugh! Pray!," he wrote in a Tweet.

As one can expect, the new song is no longer about pen and apples and pineapples, it is now about hand and soap and staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To top it all off, Pikotaro even donned his trademark animal print costume in the new music video.
Check out the new 2020 version of the "PPAP":
And because we need some cheer during these tough times, here is Pikotaro's original "PPAP" song, which, by the way, is in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the shortest song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart:
Ahh, fun times.
