Polis Evo 3 Premiers In Cinemas 25 May 2023, Pre-sale 11 May, Nationwide

After an explosion in Penang kills hundreds of innocent bystanders, including a police officer, detectives Khai (Shaheizy Sam) and the wisecracking Sani (Zizan Razak) are tasked to search for the culprit.

Upon investigation, they uncover a murderous trail that leads directly to the criminal’s next target: officer Khai himself! As the clock ticks, the inseparable officers are forced to battle against present and past as their suspect hides a haunting secret that may threaten their partnership forever.

The film also reunites Anis (played by Nora Danish) from the first Polis Evo (2015) with Khai. She was notably missing in Polis Evo 2 and the story brings her back to the centre to raise the stakes for "super cop" Khai.

One Cent Thief breakout star Syafiq Kyle also joins the team alongside comedian Douglas Lim who describes his character as "the man in the van". You know, like Ludacris in the Fast and Furious franchise.

The Polis Evo franchise has so far raked in a total RM43 million at the box office across two movies with the first raking in RM18 million and the second RM25 million respectively. We hope the film gets RM57 million to make the franchise worth a cool RM100 million.

The third installment is directed by Syafiq Yusof who also directed Abang Long Fadil 3 which itself was a box office hit raking in RM22 million. Syafiq Yusof is of course the son of legendary film producer and director of Skop Productions, Datuk Yusof Haslam. The film is produced by BlackFlag and for the first time ever, the latest Polis Evo film sees the collaboration of three major Malaysian producers Astro Shaw, Skop Productions and TGV Pictures.

Special for fans and audience, Polis Evo 3 movie tickets can be purchased starting on May 11th, 2023 in cinemas nationwide. Viewers can also be the earliest audience watching this film through a 'sneak preview' on 24th May 2023 -- one day earlier than the film's official release date.

For diehard fans out there, the Polis Evo 3 cast will be touring and visiting your area through the road tour series on May 26th, 27th, 28th in Terengganu, Pahang; June 3rd, 4th, 5th in Kedah, Penang, Perak; and June 9th, 10th, 11th in Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan.
