Have you been binge-watching Netflix to pass time at home during the second Movement Control Order (MCO)?

If you did, we’re sure you’ve watched the hit French series, ‘Lupin’.

Fans thoroughly enjoyed the series about Assane Diop, a man who takes inspiration from the fictional gentleman thief Arsène Lupin but were given a rude cliffhanger ending when the series ended in just five episodes.

The elusive thief is back

He's back with a vengeance.
Fret not fans, as Netflix has announced that Diop, played by Omar Sy will return for a second season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, ‘Lupin’ part two will arrive in the summer of 2021.

And this time, fans will be treated to a double dose of episodes, 10 to be exact.

Well, we’re only a few months away to find out if Assane will ever get his revenge against his father’s former employer, Hubert Pellegrini who framed him for stealing the family’s multi-million necklace.

Based on the cliffhanger ending, fans can expect a lot of action and sneaky tricks up Diop’s sleeves.
