Daemon and Aemond. Similar names, similar mannerisms, similar sinister intentions. If not for the eyepatch, we think we’ll mix them up. Is Aemond discount Daemon, or the upgrade? We can’t wait to find out.



“History does not remember blood. It remembers names.” But how can we remember names when Rhaenyra has two more children named Aegon and Viserys? Now there are TWO Aegons? Not to mention half of us are already mixing up Rhaenyra with Rhaenys. Even Alicent mixes up Ser Arryk with Ser Erryk.

Strong Bonds

One of our favourite moments was Daemon helping King Viserys up the throne and placing the crown on his head. It showed us that Daemon still loves his brother and always wanted him on the throne.

Fun fact: This scene was unplanned. The crown accidentally dropped during shooting and Matt Smith (Daemon) made a spontaneous decision to place the crown on Paddy Considine (King Viserys).

With King Viserys gone, we have finally reached the main plot of the Dance of the Dragons—the civil war between the Greens and the Blacks! We can’t believe war is going to happen because of how Alicent misheard what King Versrys said. But wars have started for less…
