Following the critical success of Moana which Johnson starred in, he has confirmed his involvement as an actor and producer in another Disney movie – Jungle Cruise.
We know, you might be thinking “Wait, isn’t that a Disney theme park attraction?”, and you're right, but because it is so popular, Disney has decided to make a live-action adaptation of this iconic ride.
Jungle Cruise is a classic original Disneyland ride where park-goers go through a journey in tropical settings such as Africa’s Nile and Congo rivers as well as South America’s Amazon river where you’ll stumble across wild animals in their ‘natural habitat’.

However, not much is known about the project so far, except that the Fate of the Furious actor will be starring in it.
However, we do know from a report by Hollywood Reporter that The Rock will be working closely again with Dany Garcia, who has previously worked on Baywatch, Ballers, and Jumanji as a producer.
The production of the movie is slated to kick off in spring 2018.
