Local actress Sarah Lian has just been nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Nice International Film Festival, just one month after winning the same award at the Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA) and another at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards last September.

The actress announced the big news on her Instagram profile earlier today, expressing her pleasant surprise at the nomination for her role as Anna in feature film Jasmine.

Just found out from the director that I've been nominated for "Best Supporting Actress" at the Nice International Film Festival this May! What an honour! All the way in the French Riviera. :) #jasmine #independentfilm #niceinternationalfilmfest
