Shah Rukh Khan Is Voicing Mufasa In The Hindi Version Of ‘The Lion King’
The long awaited live-action remake of Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ will be making its way to our local cinemas in July, which also coincides with the original movie’s 25th anniversary.
Fans seemed to be impressed with the new CGI effects based on the trailer, as well as the star-studded voice cast which includes several high-profile celebrities such as Donald Glover, Beyonce, Seth Rogen, James Earl Jones, and many more.
But recently, what caught our attention the most was when acclaimed Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared the latest ‘The Lion King’ poster...which features him as the voice of Mufasa.
Before the confusion sets in, it turns out that the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actor will indeed be voicing the popular villain, but for the Hindi version of ‘The Lion King’.The most iconic father-son story of all time, featuring the King himself @iamsrk and #AryanKhan.Disney's #TheLionKing in cinemas July 19. pic.twitter.com/UCHR57waWl— Walt Disney Studios (@disneyfilmindia) June 17, 2019
But the surprise doesn’t stop there; Shah Rukh Khan’s actual son, Aryan Khan, will also be lending his voice in the same movie as Simba.
That’s a complete circle of life right there for the both of them!

Most of you know that there will be some singing in the movie, so we can’t help but to think that the Hindi version of ‘The Lion King’ will somehow turn out to be an all-out Bollywood movie production.
So, could this possibly mean that there will be a Malay version of ‘The Lion King’ too? Only one month to go until we find out.
