Animated film fans, you’re probably familiar with the 2016 animated musical ‘Sing’ featuring a bunch of Hollywood A-listers such as Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, and Matthew McConaughey to name a few.

And it looks like we’ll be singing again with them soon in 2021.

‘Sing 2’ is set to hit theatres during the holidays season 2021 and will feature a handful of new cast members such as Bono, Halsey, Letitia Wright, Chelsea Peretti and Bobby Cannavale.

Bono The Rockstar

Can't wait!
According to Entertainment Weekly, the U2 frontman will reportedly play a lion named Clay Calloway, a reclusive rock legend whom Buster (McConaughey) is trying to recruit for his latest shows with other fellow crooners.

Cannavale will play a ruthless wolf mogul – Jimmy Crystal and his daughter Porsche will be played by Halsey.

‘Sing’ tells the tale of a singing competition starred by animals that are competing to win the grand prize of $100,000, which was actually misprinted with extra two ‘0’s.

The first film received rave reviews from critics and fans so we’re very intrigued to see what happens in the sequel and all the cool songs that’ll be featured in it.

‘Sing 2’ is slated to premiere on 22 December 2021.
