Sorry Fans, Marvel Won’t Include A CGI Version Of Chadwick Boseman In ‘Black Panther 2’
Following the death of ‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman in August, fans have been speculating who will be his successor in the sequel.
Several people were named; some even suggested that Letitia Wright who played Suri, T’Challa’s sister take over as she would be the perfect and sensible fit in the continuation of the film.
There were also reports that Marvel had plans to digitally recreate Boseman for the second flick but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
In an interview with Clarin, Marvel Studios executive vice president Victoria Alonso confirmed that the studio would not be creating a CGI version of the late actor who passed away to cancer.
One and Only King

"No. There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us," Alonso told the Argentine newspaper.
"Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction, and we are taking time to see how we continue the story and what we do to honor this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, really."
“Chadwick wasn’t only a wonderful human being, every day of the 5 years we spent together, but also, I believe, that what he did as a character elevated us as a company, and has left his moment on history.”

"Sometimes two months go by or three months go by...and you say, well, it was a long time. But...we have to think carefully about what we are going to do, and how we are going to honor the franchise."
So sorry fans, as much as we miss Chadwick and would want to see him don the Black Panther suit once again, there will always be one king and it would forever remain that way.
