American stand-up comedian Margaret Cho will be giving Malaysians a taste of her razor sharp comedy this May.

Her latest tour titled 'Fresh Off The Bloat' is said to be her most compelling show to date as she continues to tackle difficult taboo topics like addiction, abuse, activism and being Asian.

Besides her creative work, Cho is also widely recognised for her charity work.
“My grandmother once said to me, 'You look bloated as if you've been found dead in a lake after several days of searching.' Koreans are the most savage of all the Asians," she shared.

'Fresh Off The Bloat' was inspired by an awakening after she had experience a bout of addiction and depression. So you can expect a very honest, passionate and entertaining Margaret Cho in this show, happening on 11 May, 8.30pm at HGH Convention Centre.

A pioneer among women in comedy, Cho has had five Grammy Award nominations, including two for music albums 'Cho Dependent' and 'American Myth', and an Emmy nod for her role as North Korean leader Kim Jong Il on 30 Rock.

Cho appears on '30 Rock' on more than one occasion.
She has literally conquered all forms of entertainment in film, television, books, music and theatre. She was also in Will Smith's latest Netflix original film Bright.
