Swifties, if you were amongst the one million people who joined the presale queue for Taylor Swift’s Singapore concert in March 2024, but failed to get tickets, don’t fret. Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has confirmed that it will be bringing the ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ concert film to Malaysia.
GSC confirmed on its Facebook and Instagram pages that the movie is set to open at its screens nationwide on 3 November 2023 (Friday). Tickets will be available for purchase starting from 18 October at 12.00pm.
Tickets are priced at RM65 for all GSC locations and starting from RM155 at the Aurum Theatre, at the Gardens Mall which is their flagship ultra-luxurious boutique cinema.
The 169-minute film will be released worldwide on 13 October. As of October 5, 2023, it has earned $100 million in global pre-sales, already becoming the highest-grossing concert film of all time and proving the undisputable power of the American singer-songwriter. The film was produced by Taylor Swift herself to document the Eras Tour, her 2023–2024 concert tour in support of her discography.
