At approximately 10.30am, Prime Minister Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak posted on his official Facebook page this announcement:

We've since downloaded the app and have tried it out. This is what's inside:

There are five tabs at the bottom of the app. The first tab contains live updates from the Prime Minister from his blog to his various social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Also, there is the 1Malaysia.com.my website and a 'Watch Live' button that brings us to a 'SAMBUTAN HARI MALAYSIA 2016' page that is offline. Presumably we will be able to watch other live events from this page. Finally there's a '#Bajet2017' button as well that launches a separate page covering the live broadcast of the Bajet 2017 on 21 October 2016.

The next tab after the 'Home' tab leads you to the Track Record of our Prime Minister from as early as 1976 to 2016 following four milestone periods in his life. After you've had a good read, you can tap the middle button to bring up the 'Help & Feedback' tab. Presumably, this section serves to get feedback for the app. You can mention the 'Type of Issue' and a 'Description' of the issue followed by a photo or video.

The final two tabs are a 'Saved Links' tab and a 'Profile' tab respectively. Not too interesting, unless you want to get yourself registered with the app.

If you're on iOS you can download the app here.

If you're on Android the app is available here.

Show your love for our Prime Minister and download his app now.
