However, Marvel Studios' latest release, ‘Thunderbolts*’, breaks away from these conventions, offering a refreshing and profound take on the superhero genre. This film is not just another addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU); it is a groundbreaking piece that redefines what a superhero movie can be by placing a significant emphasis on mental health.

Exceptional performances

We personally loved the intense backstories of Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, and Bob, aka The Sentry, aka The Void, played by Lewis Pullman. These two characters, in particular, stand out for their complex and emotionally charged narratives. Yelena's journey through trauma and her struggle to find her place in a world that has often been unkind to her is portrayed with raw emotion and sincerity by Pugh. Her performance captures the essence of a character who is both fierce and fragile, making her arc deeply compelling.
Similarly, Lewis Pullman’s portrayal of Bob is nothing short of remarkable.
