Ever since Johnny Depp’s libel lawsuit verdict became public, there has been an outpouring of love and support from his fans via social media.

The verdict led to Depp being forced to resign from his role as Gellert Grindelwald in ‘Fantastic Beasts’ which is now being filled by Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen.

Following his exit from the magical franchise, fans launced a petition against his ex-wife Amber Heard to get her removed from ‘Aquaman 2’ which has collected over 1.5 million signatures to date.

Well it seems like Depp’s fans may be preparing for a new petition as news has surfaced that Heard is now reportedly in talks to star in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.

Pouring Salt Onto The Wound

The one and only Jack Sparrow we can accept.
According to We Got This Covered, Heard has reportedly spoken with Margot Robbie about a potential role in the upcoming ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ (POTC) spin off which is tuned to be full of “girl power”.

Robbie has been confirmed as the star of the reboot earlier in June, which will have new characters and plots.

Warner Bros has landed itself in hot water amongst Depp’s fans since his termination and considering Heard for a role in the next POTC would be a great slap to the man who essentially invented Jack Sparrow and made the franchise a success.

Are you #TeamAmber or #TeamJohnny?
Depp was fired from the popular Disney franchise in 2018 after allegations of domestic abuse against Heard surfaced.

So fans, if this turns out to be true, will you still watch the new version of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’?
