Remember back in 2015 when British actor Daniel Craig said he would "rather slash his wrists" than play James Bond again? Well, turns out he was just joking.

That's because he has reportedly signed on to play the suave spy for the fifth time.

The film's producer, Barbara Broccoli, told UK's The Mirror that she has managed to secure the 49-year-old star for at least another James Bond movie.

After the release of Spectre back in 2015, Craig reportedly told reporters that he's done playing the suave spy, and he famously told Timeout UK in an interview that if he did play Bond, James Bond again, "it would be for the money".

Suiting up one more time.
His remarks reportedly prompted studio executives to look for his replacement, with The Dark Tower star Idris Elba and The Dark Knight Rises hunk Tom Hardy emerging as favourites to land the role.

Well, we guess the money was a little bit too good to turn down, huh?

Adele x Craig V2.0?
Not only that: Broccoli is reportedly "determined" to get powerhouse singer Adele to perfom the film's theme song.

Craig and Adele actually made a pretty awesome team, as 2012's Skyfall raked in more than USD1billion (RM4.3bil) worldwide. In fact, her song "Skyfall" was the first Bond theme song to win a Grammy Award as well as a Golden Globe.

Hey, we wouldn't mind another Craig and Adele team up.

Broccoli added that the still untitled Bond 25 film is set to start filming next year.

The best Bond of all time? With Craig signing on for his fifth Bond movie, he would overtake Pierce Brosnan as the actor who played the most James Bond film. Only Roger Moore (seven) and Sean Connery (six) have played 007 more times than Craig.

Hey, if it was us, and we were offered an insane amount of money to return, we would've signed on for 20 more James Bond movies.
