If you grew up in the early 2000s, you probably spent your weekends binge-watching several coming-to-age TV series like 'Dawson's Creek' and 'Beverly Hills 90210'.

Another series that shaped TV during that era was none other than 'One Tree Hill'.

Thanks to its compelling storyline, its pretty cast (hi, Sophia Bush) and the never-ending drama, 'One Tree Hill' is arguably one of the best teen drama series to ever grace our TV screens.

If you, like us, are a huge fan, be prepared for some potentially big news.

'Working on a little somethin somethin'

Potential reboot? Yes, please!
Chad Michael Murray, who played Lucas Scott in the series, recently caused quite a stir among fans with several cryptic posts teasing about a possible reunion on his Instagram account.

On 25 February, Murray posted a photo of him reuniting with the original cast members of 'One Tree Hill' including James Lafferty (who played Nathan Scott) and Hilarie Burton (who played Peyton Sawyer):

A mini reunion or something more?
The photo might not mean anything, as it could just be a gathering for a charity event (Murray tagged @fwbcharityevents in the same post), but on Saturday (14 March), he posted yet another cryptic photo that sent 'OTH' fans into a frenzy.

The photo shows a basketball jersey with the name 'Scott' and '3' - the jersey he wore on the show - with the caption: 'Working on a little somethin somethin ? #OTH #LucasScott'.

What does this mean?!
"Please say revival," Instagram user tamaralitun wrote.

"Dont leave us hanging like this! I'm freaking out! What does this mean?," toriglover asked.

Again, this photo could mean anything; maybe Murray was just teasing a charity event involving a signed 'OTH' jersey? Maybe he was spring cleaning and he found this jersey and he's all nostalgic?

Who knows at this moment?

While there is no concrete evidence that 'OTH' is making a comeback for now, there have been reports saying that two former cast members, Jana Kramer and Bethany Joy Lenz, are interested in a reboot.

However, there are numerous huge roadblocks that could prevent a reboot from happening. You can read all about it here.

Hey, if 'Friends' can come back for a reunion, anything is possible, right?

Please let this be real.
Originally released back in 2003 and lasting nine seasons, 'One Tree Hill' follows half-brothers Nathan and Lucas' attempt to deal with their lives and bond over their love for basketball in the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina.

If there's a TV series that deserves a reboot or a sequel, it's definitely 'One Tree Hill', so please make it happen!
