Wanna Play? A Chucky TV Series Is Coming Really, Really Soon

On the look out for an extremely scary TV series to watch and 'American Horror Story' is not doing it for you? Hang on to your seats, boys and girls, because your childhood nightmare is set to invade your TV screens.

Everyone's favourite demon doll Chucky will be getting his very own TV series.

The news was confirmed by the creator and producer of the long-running 'Chucky' franchise Don Manchini over the weekend:

According to entertainment website Bloody Disgusting, the TV series, currently called 'Child's Play: The TV Series', will feature eight episodes, with each episode lasting almost an hour long.

The series is apparently not a reboot of the franchise as the storyline is somehow tied to the seven 'Child's Play' films.

Brad Dourif -- the voice of Chucky in the original film series -- will reprise his role as the creepy doll, the website reported.

No other details have been revealed so far, but one thing's for certain: we can't wait to have Chucky back in our lives!
