We’ve been left playing the guessing game for quite some time now about who’s going to replace Henry Cavill as the next Superman.

Many names have popped up, but according to a report by Men’s Health, one name is a standout, and he’s 26-year-old actor David Corenswet.

A more laidback Superman?

Late last year, Corenswet who stars in Netflix’s The Politician revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that playing Superman was his “pie-in-the-sky ambition”.

“I would love to see somebody do an upbeat, throwback (take on Superman). I love the Henry Cavill dark and gritty take, but I would love to see the next one be very bright and optimistic,” he said in the interview.

36-year-old Henry Cavill last played the Man of Steel in ‘Justice League’ way back in 2017 and was reported as saying that he was still not done with the role.
