We Finally Have The Movie Release Date For 'Crazy Rich Asians'

Warner Bros just announced the official release date for Crazy Rich Asians and it is less than a year away!

Starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the film based on Kevin Kwan’s best-selling novel of the same name will be out in theatres on 17 August 2018, just in time for the summer.

Crazy Rich Asians centers on American-born Chinese economics professor Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) who follows her boyfriend Nick (Henry Golding) to attend his best friend’s wedding in Singapore.

Soon after, Rachel discovers that Nick is from an ultra-wealthy family who is probably Asia’s most eligible bachelor. Her drama continues as she finds herself right in the middle of the lives of Asia’s rich and famous.

The Jon M. Chu film stars a host of other Asian actors who deserve to be Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Ken Jeong, Harry Shum Jr., Awkwafina, Jimmy O. Yang and Gemma Chan.
