Margot Robbie and director Tom Ackerley tied the knot in Byron Bay, Australia and kept the wedding as low-key as possible. In fact, the couple never officially announced their engagement! So it comes as no surprise that Australia’s ultimate cool girl managed to pull off a super chilled-out wedding without all the usual big celebrity fuss and glam. Taking place at a closely-guarded private property, the ceremony gathered 50 guests to witness the newlyweds exchange their vows.

Robbie and Ackerley first met on the World War II drama Suite Française in 2013 and got together shortly after. But the Aussie actress wasn’t exactly looking for love at the time. “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit," she said in an interview. "And then this crept up on me.”

“We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, 'Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot. Don't be stupid and tell him that you like him.' And then it happened, and I was like, 'Of course we're together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'"That sounds like a story that came straight out of a rom-com, but like she said, it happened! Congrats to the beautiful couple!
