HELLO
If You Love Gerard Way Of My Chemical Romance, You’ll Love His New Hit Netflix Series
Remember your days of teen angst where you used to listen to emo or punk rock bands who apparently ‘understand’ you better? Those bands kept you sane, influenced your fashion choices, and probably your questionable heavily-applied eyeliner days.
And one of those bands was of course none other than My Chemical Romance.
Front man Gerard Way became an icon for a generation – a savior of the broken, the beaten, and the damned.

But years later, little did we know that Gerard would make a comeback but in the most unlikely way: by producing and writing a hit Netflix series titled 'The Umbrella Academy'.
The show was adapted from the comic book of the same title, which was written by him and illustrated by Gabriel Bá.
The Umbrella Academy’s first issue was released in 2007. The comic even bagged the Eisner Award in 2008.
Netflix released the series on 15 February 2019 and received positive response from viewers and critics. Many even admitted that they were hooked on the show and managed to binge-watch the whole season in less than 48 hours!
The Umbrella Academy currently has an 8.5 rating on IMDb.

Each sibling has their own quirk and superpower (except one) which their father exploited them to do some superhero duties.
Well, we’ve seen a few episodes of it and all we can say is we’re addicted! You can definitely see the Gerard Way treatment in each episode and character.

'The Umbrella Academy' is now available on Netflix.
