Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh needs no further introduction to Malaysians and Hollywood as well, as she has successfully made her mark via various blockbuster movies and TV series over these past couple of decades.

Her latest works – ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ - have been big hits worldwide and it seems that there’s no sign of slowing down for the Ipoh-native actress.

Well, we’ll be seeing a lot more of her soon because the 56-year-old will be starring in James Cameron’s ‘Avatar 2’.

Variety has confirmed that Yeoh will be “heading to Pandora” and she will be playing Dr. Karina Mogue.

So Michelle Yeoh, you become blue anot?
So, she’ll most likely not be blue in colour on screen but hey, who knows if that will happen.

“Throughout her career, Michelle has always created unique and memorable characters,” Cameron said.

“I look forward to working with Michelle to do the same thing on the ‘Avatar’ sequels.”

Malaysia's cinematic queen.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2.0’ actress will star alongside Zoë Saldana, Sam Worthington, Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, David Thewlis and Edie Falco in the second installation of ‘Avatar’.

The production team is keeping a close lid on the details of the storyline, so we guess we'll have to wait and see.

‘Avatar 2’ is slated for release on 18 December 2020 and is the second out of four upcoming ‘Avatar’ movies.

So, what could be next for this legendary Malaysian actress?
