Although seeing the girl band in the flesh on tours is quite a stretch given the circumstances right now, you’ll be able to catch the four-piece girl group in cinemas not too long from now.

BLACKPINK turns five

According to Soompi, to celebrate BLACKPINK’s fifth year debut, they will be releasing ‘BLACKPINK The Movie’.

The special film will be screened in over 100 countries this August, so chances are it will be coming to Malaysia too.

Fans can expect to see various sequences like ‘The Room of Memory’, which will show the memories they’ve shared for the past five years since their debut, ‘Beauty’, which contains strong images of the four members with distinct personalities, and ‘Unreleased Special Interview’ for the fans.

But the surprise doesn’t end there – the movie will also feature five songs from their concerts ‘The Show’ and ‘In Your Area (2018)’ to give the audience a vivid experience as if they were in a real concert hall.
