[CONTEST] Win Premiere Screening Passes To 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'

If you loved the Jaeger vs. Kaiju action in 'Pacific Rim', you'll be glad to hear that the sequel is releasing really soon.

This time around, a new Kaiju threat will push humanity to the limit and it is up to a new fleet of Jaeger pilots to stop them.

Leading the fight in this movie is Jake Pentecost (played by ‘Star Wars’ alumni John Boyega) - the son of the legendary Stacker Pentecost, who sacrificed himself to save humanity in the last Kaiju war.


A once-promising Jaeger pilot, Jake has since abandoned his training only to become caught up in a criminal underworld.

But when an unstoppable threat is unleashed to tear through the cities and threaten the existence of mankind, Jake is reluctantly forced to team up with his estranged half-sister Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi), now leading a new generation of Jaeger pilots, to try and stop the attack.


Together with gifted rival pilot Lambert (Scott Eastwood) and 15-year-old Jaeger hacker Amara (Cailee Spaeny), Jake will take command of the shiny new Mark-6 Jaeger Gypsy Avenger, an upgraded version of the Gipsy Danger from the previous movie.


Rising up to become the most powerful defense force to ever walk the earth, they will set course for a spectacular all-new adventure on a towering scale.

'Pacific Rim: Uprising' opens in cinemas nationwide on 22 March 2018.
