Bad news, Ed Sheeran fans!

The pop star has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after he was knocked down by a car in London.

According to a report by UK site Unilad, the 26-year-old singer was reportedly cycling on the streets of the capital when he was hit by the car.

He was then rushed to the hospital where he received treatment for a broken right arm. Other than that, he is reportedly in a stable condition.

He later shared a photo on Instagram to calm the storm in a lot of fans' hearts, but did little to reassure them that his upcoming shows would go on:

Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news. Ed x

The accident came at a very bad time for Malaysian fans as he is set to play in Malaysia on 14 November at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil.

Fans are now fearing the worst as playing a guitar with a broken arm would prove to be a challenge even for a musician as seasoned as Sheeran.

We reached out to Warner Music Malaysia about the status of his concert in Malaysia, but they declined to comment. We guess we have to wait and see.

Get well soon, Ed!
