Fans of ‘Running Man’ would agree that the show wouldn’t be complete without the funny antics from lovable cast member Lee Kwang Soo.

Being the tallest in the cast, he was labeled as the ‘giraffe’ in the team and was often put it situations where his height was an advantage.

But now, we may no longer see Kwang Soo’s shenanigans as the actor has announced that he will be departing from the show.

According to Soompi, the 35-year-old’s agency King Kong by Starship revealed that his last recording will be taking place on 24 May.

The reason behind is exit is partly due to his ankle injury.

“He has been steadily undergoing rehabilitation treatment since his injury from the accident last year, but it has been difficult for him to be in perfect condition during the recordings,” the statement from his agency said.

“After long discussions between the members, producers, and his agency since the accident, it was decided that he will take some time to take care of his body and mind. We sincerely thank you for sending so much love and attention to Lee Kwang Soo on ‘Running Man.'”
