Imagine if you are having lunch or dinner and a celebrity suddenly decides to pay for your meal.
Sounds too good to be true?
Well, that was precisely what happened to a couple of lucky Jay Chou fans in Singapore recently.
Chou, who was in the country for his Carnival World Tour concert put it out on his Instagram asking fans to come over and say hi and promised that he would belanja them if they did.
Singapore Straits Times reported that the 40-year-old superstar posted a series of Instagram stories detailing his whereabouts.
One of the stops included Atlas bar where he posted photos of himself with fans whose bills he had settled.
He also footed the bill for a group of diners while visiting the Yi restaurant at Raffles Hotel.
"I said yesterday that I will treat you if you meet me. I have just settled the bill for fans at a few tables at this restaurant. Am I true to my word?" he wrote on a follow up Instagram post following the belanja spree.
Oh, Jay Chou, could you please belanja us too?
