Things are looking good for the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which will kick off with ‘Black Widow’ in July followed by new faces in the roster.

While we welcome the new superheroes, we must not forget those who paved way for them in the MCU including Captain America.

And it seems like his journey isn’t over post ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

Captain America is back?

Will Steve Rogers return?
According to Entertainment Weekly (EW), just a few hours after the final episode of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ debuted on Disney+, Marvel has confirmed that a fourth installment of ‘Captain America’ is in the works.

The creator of the Disney+ series, Malcolm Spellman will be writing the script.

Although no indication on the possibility of Chris Evans returning to the franchise, ‘Captain America 4’ will probably be focused on Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie.

After Steve Rogers passed down the iconic shield to Sam – which he later on embraced it in the finale of the series, fans would already have an idea where the story will be going.

Is this the next Captain America?
Besides the film, a second season of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ is also rumoured to be happening.

Despite the news, Mackie seems to be in the dark about it as he hasn’t heard from Marvel yet.

“I'm excited to see what happens, but I haven't heard anything," he told EW.

No date yet on when ‘Captain America 4’ is happening but hey, at least we know it’s already on the cards.
