Following the end of ‘The Avengers’ saga, many Marvel fans wondered what’s in store for them in the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

From ‘Black Widow’ to the rumours of Angelina Jolie being signed up to be the next Marvel superhero to the turmoil facing ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, it seems that our quest to discover what Phase Four holds for us has finally come to an end.

During the highly-anticipated 2019 San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige finally dropped the news we’ve all been waiting for.

So, here’s a list of ALL the Marvel movies and TV series lined up for Phase Four of the MCU from 2020 to 2021.

#1 ‘Black Widow’

Finally, Natasha Romanoff a.k.a Black Widow is getting her standalone movie. The original member of the Avengers will kick off the fourth phase of the MCU and if you’re thinking that she’ll be resurrected in this film, it’s unlikely that’ll happen.

This film will most likely tell Black Widow’s tale prior to her days with the Avengers where she’ll also face off against the copycat villain Taskmaster.

#2 ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’

Steve Rogers has passed on his Captain America shield to the Falcon in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and if you’re wondering what’s going to happen next, this is it. Fans will get a chance to follow the Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s adventures in fighting evil through ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ series which will be aired exclusively on Disney+.

#3 ‘The Eternals’

Everyone can finally heave a sigh of relief because Angelina Jolie will indeed join the MCU and be part of ‘The Eternals’. The Eternals are the next legion of superheroes in the MCU ala the Avengers, and they are beautiful god-like beings created by the Celestials as a force for good. Also, they are over a million years old, so they're probably the oldest superheroes to ever hit the silver screen.

#4 ‘Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings’

Marvel is making history once again by introducing the first Asian superhero lead to the MCU. Shang-Chi was first hinted in ‘Iron Man’ and will face off against the real Mandarin (not the fake one in ‘Iron Man 3’). Not much is known about the storyline but it is said that it will tell the origins of Shang-Chi and give a glimpse into the evil organisation named the Ten Rings. Oh, and legendary Hong Kong actor Tony Lueng will be in it.

#5 ‘WandaVision’

‘WandaVision’ will be the next original series to be aired on Disney+. If you think Wanda Maximoff is the strongest Avenger ever and should receive more airtime, you’re in for a treat. What’s even more interesting is that the grown-up version of Monica Rambeau (Maria Rambeau’s daughter from ‘Captain Marvel’) will also appear in the series.

“It’s going to get weird. We’re going to go deep, we’re going to have lots of surprises, and we’re going to finally understand Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlet Witch,” Olsen said during the San Diego Comic Con.

#6 ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

After anchoring her own series, the Scarlet Witch is set to return to the silver screens alongside Doctor Strange in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. Although Mysterio’s version of the multiverse was just a digital fantasy, a multiverse apparently does exist in the MCU and we’ll get to see how Strange tackles it. The sequel is also set to be the first horror film in the MCU, according to Feige. Doctor Strange in a 'The Conjuring'-type setting? Yes please!

#7 ‘Loki’

After Loki’s devastating demise in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, many wondered if the God of Mischief will somehow come back. Well, the answer is sort of a yes and no. Yes, he’ll be back in his own series on Disney+ and no, he he won't be alive during the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ timeline. However, Loki managed to grab the Tesseract/Space Stone so there’s a possibility that he’s alive in a different timeline (or multiverse?) and all the questions you have will be answered through this series.

#8 ‘What If…?’

No one saw this coming and Marvel being good at surprises dropped a big one with ‘What If…?’. The series will be Marvel’s first venture into animation, and this series will premiere on Disney+. ‘What If…?’ explores different timelines and stories within the MCU. Feige also revealed that “dozens of MCU stars” will lend their voices in the series. The series will reportedly be narrated by The Watcher, who is a non-earthly being who observes all things.

#9 ‘Hawkeye’

Besides Romanoff, Hawkeye deserves his own spotlight and he’s getting one via his own series on Disney+. In his standalone series, Clint Barton will be taking Kate Bishop under his wing to train her to become the next Hawkeye.

“I get to teach someone else how to be a superhero without superpowers,” Jeremy Renner said during SDCC.

#10 ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

Prior to SDCC’s D-day, ‘Thor 4’ was confirmed a few days earlier when news of Taika Waititi’s return to the franchise broke. Fans will get their dose of laughter in the MCU via ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ where Natalie Portman will return to reprise her role as Jane Foster and also take on a heavier responsibility – holding the Mjolnir and becoming the female Thor. Now, we’re wondering if fit Thor or fat Thor will return in the fourth installment.

#11 ‘Blade’

Blade does not exist in the MCU but Marvel has given the greenlight to reboot the popular film originally starring Wesley Snipes. The biggest bombshell during the series announcement was made even sweeter when Feige announced that Mahershala Ali will be playing the iconic role. No updates were given on what form will the vampire hunter return in or when will he return.

If you think that’s all that Marvel has to offer in the fourth phase, Feige added that he wasn’t given enough time at the end of his slot to talk about Marvel’s future plans for ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘Black Panther 2’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, ‘Captain Marvel 2’, and even ‘X-Men’. Imagine if he did, it’ll probably turn in to a Marvel Comic Con instead and the fans will go wild.
