If you remember at the end of 'Avengers: Endgame', the beloved god of thunder Thor rode off with the Guardians of the Galaxy into a galaxy far, far away.

Thor's decision at the end of movie raised a whole lot of questions: is he part of the Guardians now? Will he still be thicc in the next movie? How will he co-exist with Starlord?

But the most important question is this: will there ever be another 'Thor' movie?

We're waiting, Marvel.
Well, Marvel has finally spoken.

The good news is; yes, there will indeed be another 'Thor' movie.

The bad news is; the star of the movie might not be the Thicc Thor we all fell in love with.

According to entertainment website Comicbook.com, Marvel has revealed during the ongoing 2019 San Diego Comic Con that the next Thor movie will be called 'Thor: Love And Thunder'.

Taika Waititi will be back to direct the movie, with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, who played the badass Valkyrie, reprising their roles.

The biggest surprise, however, was when it was announced that Natalie Portman will be coming back to play Jane Foster.

Thor and Jane sitting on a tree...
The 38-year-old actress last appeared in 2013's 'Thor: The Dark World', and she was notably absent in 'Thor: Ragnarok' and 'Avengers: Endgame'.

So, imagine our surprise when the director confirmed that Portman will not only be returning to the franchise, but she will be adopting Thor's mantle and the Mjolnir in the movie!

Yep, that's right: Natalie Portman will be the new Thor!

Meet the sexier Thor.
However, not much has been revealed about the new movie - or how Foster would come to possess the power of Thor - but she would follow the footsteps of her comics counterpart.

In the comic books, Jane Foster became Thor when the original god of thunder was deemed unworthy to wield the Mjolnir.

Was he deemed unworthy after he became Thicc Thor? Did he become unworthy because he's no longer the king of New Asgard?

Guess we'll find out when the movie premieres on 5 November 2021.
