By now, most of you have probably started (or finished!) part deux, as the French say, of ‘Lupin’.

Fans are eager to know if the gentleman thief has anymore tricks up his sleeve in a bid to rescue his son after being kidnapped in Part One.

Well, ‘Lupin’ actor Omar Sy (who plays Assane Diop) recently pulled out a ‘trick’ from his bag that not only impressed Malaysian fans, but also left them amused.

'Lupin Lipin' is back

Netflix Malaysia recently tweeted a promo for the hit series with the words ‘Lupin Lipin’, which referred to the local animated series ‘Upin & Ipin’.

For context, both Omar is bald too, just like the characters in 'Upin & Ipin'.

Omar Sy then responded to the tweet, and the rest is history.

He also attempted to speak in Malay slang, which honestly, was impressive and spot on.

Fans were excited and impressed by his tweet, and they also took the opportunity to tell him how much they enjoyed watching him in the show.

Others attempted to teach him more of the local language and jokingly suggested that ‘Lupin’ collaborate with ‘Upin & Ipin’ in the future.
