That sword-like lightsaber, the cool mask, his tragic life stories, his Knights of Ren buddies; Kylo Ren was set out to become an all-time great 'Star Wars' villain.
But unfortunately, 'The Last Jedi' and 'The Rise Of Skywalker' happened, so no one really likes Kylo Ren anymore.
And Lucasfilm is apparently trying to fix that (or ruin his image more).
Fans are excited

Despite how badly the Sequel Trilogy performed as a whole in the box office, the studio behind the 'Star Wars' film is reportedly looking at bringing back Kylo Ren for future projects.
A Twitter user by the name of Corey Van Dyke, who also happens to be a popular 'Star Wars' tipster, revealed that Lucasfilm is "working on" a Ben Solo project.
We’ve heard Ben Solo is a character Lucasfilm wants to further develop. We don’t know if this is a series or movie, but it’s definitely being worked on. We also don’t know if this is pre TFA or post TROS, but if I were to guess I’d say pre TFA. Again, this is in early development. pic.twitter.com/XP5ALD7yVG

Van Dyke mentioned that the unspecified Kylo Ren project is "in early development", but there are no news yet if it's going to be a standalone movie or a TV series for streaming site Disney+.
He also mentioned that there was no news about actor Adam Driver, who played the character in the movies, being attached to the project, but then again, Lucasfilm might be keeping things under wrap for now.
There were also no mentions on whether the project would be pre-'The Force Awakens' or after the events of 'The Rise Of Skywalker', but the prospect of a standalone Kylo Ren project has fans excited:

I would be down to see this be animated and set right after the Rise of Kylo Ren comic series. It would be to get more of the the Knights of Ren as they were not used that well in TROS. It would also be cool to see the relationship that he had with Snoke.

God I hope so. The Skywalker’s were done dirty in the Palpatine Epilogue. ?

Of course, just make sure that the directors and the producers who worked on the last three 'Star Wars' movies stay out of the way.
On another note, a Luke Skywalker movie might happen as well:
