Malaysian actress Siti Saleha Baharom has just won her first international award.

News Straits Times reported that the 30-year-old has been awarded the Malaysia Model Star Award for the 15th Asia Model Festival 2020.

The international awards show was held in Seoul, South Korea last Saturday (5 December).

"It's my first international win! Such wonderful news from the Asia Model Festival Organising Committee 2020 in Seoul, South Korea.

"During the time of this pandemic comes this unexpected announcement. Therefore, I would like to share this win with my fellow Malaysians.

International recognition

Siti Saleha, who's starred in several popular TV series such as 'Mamak Cupcake' and 'Terbaik Dari Langit', is extremely thankful for everyone's support.

"Thank you so much for the endless support and unconditional love.

"To the organising committee and judges, thank you for recognising my work and international exposure.

"Not forgetting my winning colleagues for raising the bar high, so that we have been encouraged to work harder and always be better versions of ourselves.

"Stay safe everyone and take care. Thank you so much,” Siti Saleha said in her Instagram page, as quoted in the report.

She added that the award was presented to her by the organising committee who travelled to Malaysia recently.

Congratulations!
