The World Just Lost The Man Who Played The Best James Bond
On Tuesday, the world mourns the death of the British actor best known for playing James Bond, Roger Moore.
Moore’s family announced his tragic passing on Twitter. He died at age 89 after a long battle with cancer.
The veteran actor portrayed the dapper spy in seven Bond movies, beginning in 1973 with Live and Let Die and wrapping up in 1985 with A View to A Kill. With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. Besides acting, Moore was passionate about his humanitarian work as well after being introduced to UNICEF by the late Audrey Hepburn and appointed as a goodwill ambassador in 1991.

For those of us born decades after James Bond was introduced to the world, we’ve been spoiled for choice in terms of Bond actors and movies. It’s easy to forget the footprints left by Roger Moore.
So let’s look back at some of the best moments the late actor bedazzled us with his charm as Bond, James Bond:
Back before Fast And Furious stole the show with insane, totally unreal car stunts, Roger Moore (or his stuntman) pulled off this crazy corkscrew car stunt.
To be honest, we think only Roger Moore has the cojones big enough to face off against a bunch of hungry crocodiles.
Getting chased by a group of thugs while careening off a cliff? No problem; just fly off the cliff and glide your way to safety. Well played, Mr. Moore!
We're pretty sure the happy couple didn't mind Mr. Moore gate crashing their wedding party, in style no less.
"Can you swim," Bond asks Anya Amasova as his Lotus turns into a friggin' submarine! You win, Mr. Moore.
