Have a bite of their pesto smoked salmon tartine with Norwegian salmon on buttered sourdough toast topped with pomegranate or earl grey rose cake with rose cream and lychee bits. Purple Moon Lover
Also situated in Canning Garden, you can’t miss this modern single storey building with soft pink mosaic patterns if you drive by. Their windows that allow natural light to penetrate through make for the perfect place to have a lowkey photoshoot. Their menu has many Japanese elements including set meals like chicken katsu curry and cute desserts which are almost too cute to eat. Kawaii!

Jln Theatre Coffee
If you’re not sure what to do for brunch, head to Jalan Theatre for some great brews at this coffee roaster and cafe. It’s all about minimalist chic here as the space sports large windows, marble-patterned tabletops, and Nordic-styled furniture so you can enjoy some tranquil vibes. They have a good selection of pastries so savour a plate of their Black Fudge Brownie coupled with a mug of specially brewed milk coffee made from Ethiopian beans.

What looks like every other plant nursery on the outside actually houses a cosy café within. If you love plants, you’ll feel right at home at this eatery that will have you feeling like you’re enjoying a meal at a greenhouse. Plus, you can enjoy having a look at plants while waiting for your meal to arrive. Taste their Ampang Barbequed lamb or indulge in their New York cheesecake. Visit this spot in Tambun in the evening for some romantic vibes.
