#1 Converse X Andy Warhol (2015)

Who would’ve thought that the canned Campbell’s Soup would look great on the iconic high top Chuck Taylors? Fans were treated to vibrant, bright, retro colours that truly embody Warhol’s art in this collaboration. We’re also really going bananas for the one with the banana design.

#2 Converse X Kurt Cobain (2008)

What better way to relive your 90s teen angst and grunge underground gigs with this iconic collaboration? The shoe line showcased a more personal side of Kurt Cobain when Converse featured some of his scribbles and drawings from his personal notebooks. #3 Converse X Nintendo (2011)

This collaboration is probably every hardcore gamer’s dream come true as it paid homage to one of the most legendary video games, Super Mario. The nostalgic line was introduced to commemorate the video game’s 25^th anniversary and was highly sought after because it was only released in Japan. The shoes were decked in cute miniscule Super Mario prints and also actual settings from the video game.

The Simpsons is the longest running animated TV series in the world ever since it debuted in 1989. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie instantly became America's and the world’s most dysfunctional and loveable animated family on TV. The Simpsons has previously featured some well-known celebrities or public figures on its show over the years and it also has eerily managed to predict a few future events such as Trump winning the latest presidential election. This vividly coloured adorable collaboration is definitely what every The Simpsons fan needs.

#5 Converse X DC Comics (2016)

This year, Converse and DC Comics have released a wide array of DC Comics-related shoes for its fans. The collection features movies such as The Dark Knight and Suicide Squad. Earlier this year, Converse re-released its 2014 All Star DC Comics sneaker collection in time for the premiere of the new film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
